Contemporary Privacy Fence
Project Overview
The clients required a substantial upgrade to their side boundary to increase privacy for their newly landscaped patio area. The existing vegetation was sparse and did not offer adequate screening from the adjacent property.
Design Considerations
We selected a contemporary horizontal slat design built to a height of 1.8 meters. The horizontal lines elongate the visual space of the garden while the tight spacing between slats ensures maximum privacy without creating a visually heavy, solid wall.
Installation
The project involved clearing the old chainlink fence, excavating new deep post holes to ensure wind resistance, and constructing the timber frame on-site to perfectly match the slight slope of the garden. High-quality pressure-treated timber was used throughout.
